I am a self-taught artist from the Twin Cities. I received a degree in graphic design from Brown College in 1993. In 1996 began to create one of a kind magnetic art, paintings and now, MicroDoodles. In 18 years I've signed & numbered over 45,000 unique pieces of art. My MicroDoodles have been blowing minds for 6 years now. In 2012 MicroDoodle Moon was a Top 100 finisher at the amazing B.O.B. I am creating my entry this year as a homage to Alexander Calder & ArtPrize. It has changed my life and this piece changes me as an artist. I'm dedicating it to my parents. Without them I could have never followed my dreams. I love drawing outside in the early evening sun. With meditation and a steady hand, I get down on the canvas surface & let the pen go. It's a meditative brainstorm, stream of consciousness technique called automatic drawing.
